So is this one of the diesels that is supposed to shot the flames out the tailpipes? If so, you have to borrow it and scare the heck out of ricers!

I am not sure why but all I could think of with this picture is Adam from Mythbusters telling Jamie, OK, maybe I need to go to bed now.

What a loser. idea. imbecile. I could go on like that for days and not fully describe that.
  5. That's too funny Panther! Good job.

My family lived in this area before I joined the Air Force. Although they moved out of here while I was on active duty and I moved to the area that they lived in after leaving the service, I moved back here after getting my Air Force Civil Service job. My wife and I chose this area because we both went to school here and thought it would be a good place to raise our children. So far we were right. It may rain a bunch in Washington but we've never let that stop us. We have lots of outdoor activities to go do, 2 mountain ranges, the Puget Sound, the Pacific Ocean, Seattle, Canada (or at least BC ). We have 2 1/4 mile drag strips very close by and 7 within 200 miles. The countryside here in Yelm is beautiful. OK, I am prejudiced. I love it here. Although, if I had my choice and could find a job I could count on as much as my current one, I would love to move back up into the Skagit Valley, just south of Canada, north of Sedro Woolley would be perfect. Tammy, being from Alaska, talks every once in a while about returning to Fairbanks but a quick look at the weather report kills that idea.

Don't worry, they'll either kill themselves off or wind up having their nuts shot off and won't be able to reproduce. (Well, we can always hope, right??) I really wish that Darwin would catch these people before they do something THIS dumb.
  8. Great, now the unions leaders will read this and like the wal-Mart discount idea and then demand it. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  9. I remove the dealership stuff almost as soon as I get into my driveway.

I had mine taken out while still on active duty. They gave me some very good meds and put me on quarters. I wound up missing a week of 12 hour shifts and a whole readiness exercise. Just take it easy Panther and it will soon be over.

I just looked again. Please, quit teasing the animals.

While we called it 'the frozen chosen' and claimed that even the weather avoided the base, I had a lot of fun in the area. It was much more fun than Sheppard AFB, TX!

You been by the old Chanute AFB lately? That's where I went to tech school for turboprop engines (C-130s) back in the late 80s. I had a lot of fun in that area. Sometimes too much, according to the squadron leaders. :AH-HA_wink:

I thought 'Curves' was a strip club. Oops wrong country, I'm not TDY. That's one sweet set of Goats, I still want one. Too bad I couldn't convince Tammy to be interested. Couldn't even get to to try a drive. Oh well, lost getting the GTO but got the Vette. But, I still want a GTO!

Hmmm, I could be a nerd since I am webmaster for my car club and play video games (mostly the Civilization series) but I work on airplane engines for a living and have 8 cars to play with. And only one of those cars does not have a V8. I voted so-so. I can be a bit of a nerd but damn I love drag racing (and no, that is not racing in drag - there is an image no one wants)

What he said. There is a balance between playing fair in economics. Unfortunately, our trade policies has our country laying down for other nations and we are getting raped as a result. We don't need to restrict trade, just insist on fair trade.

Hey BV, if while your mind is lost it sees mine would you have it call me? With family and work, I lost mine a long time ago. I wish being bored was a problem right now. I am trying to wind down from last night's work and get to bed soon. Whenever I start to get bored the wife finds something for me to do, the "Honey-Do" list is usually quite long. Oh well, something on the list usually has to do with our cars, so it could be worse.

You should ask him that he plans on buying a car after he is done with the driver's ed booth. Didn't we have a conversation somewhere on this forum where we discussed whether the xB was either the box Toyota sent parts to the Us in or a prefabbed bathromm?

Good thinking. Maybe not white but a light ash would look incredible. Hey, Camino, you mentioned Nevada. Any chance of you coming out to Hot August Nights sometime in the near future?

  22. If only. I must be nice to be able to be wrong at least 50% of the time and still have job security. Actually, here in Washington State the weatherman xould just call for rain everyday and if it doesn't then tell people to be happy about getting sun. lol
  23. OMG, It would be a Camaro guy though, sigh, now we have mullets and this to live down.
  24. Too true. I'll take being the so call 'middle class' and having my family, cars, and fun.

Ahhh, 1st year of the C3. that is a beautiful color. I've always been partial to silvers and blues. Hmmm, maybe that explains why my Vette is blue and my 67 C-10 is blue/gray.
