If I do get one, I'm definitely putting a wicker basket on the front to carry my stuff and maybe some tassles on the hand grips.

Speaking of rebadges...
yep he's right.....if one really analyzes Saab's history, it's very surprising how few of their models were completely Saab in development. So really, GM rebadging some corporate vehicles as Saabs is not so farfetched.

.....it was almost surreal the talent these two men had, like they weren't of the human race. Just look at their incredible design legacy. It's unmatched.

Right on Blu!!!....I was hestitant to include the fastback Century/Regal, because not everyone likes it, but I like them alot especially in the Turbo model. Glad to find someone that likes these like I do. Now I will no longer be a closet fastback Century Turbo lover.

...that's a great shot, sixty8, I was looking for something like that. The GM Photo Store has a great photo of it as well. And speaking of that, if some of you have never been to that site, some great GM stuff there: http://www.gmphotostore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=53217644

Jiangxi Motors Group
We can laugh and scoff and I join in with you, but the point is this is just the beginning. It worries me just a little. I would hate as well, no matter the junk they may send here, if they got a foothold and made steady progress like Hyundai did. Hyundai was pure junk, look at them now.

'83 Malibu 9C1
Speaking of these Malibus from this era, I heard once that during the Kuwait war the army had a bunch of these with a 3-speed manual on the floor. They were sold as army surplus. And they were not ones used in the war. Does anyone know about these? I have actually seen one, a 4-door barebones with the 3 speed stick. I have tried to find info in it but nothing comes up.

I got 1977 from a couple of sources so I hope it's correct.

The Landwind SUV. This is the first vehicle from a Chinese plant to be sold in Europe. It is based on the old Isuzu Rodeo. 200 of them arrived in Belgium last month. Available with diesel and gas engines. It's priced about $20,220 after taxes. They sold quickly. I guess with that kind of pricing. This is just the beginning. I think China is going to be a huge player. There are more than 100 different carmakers now manufacturing in China.

1954 Buick Landau Concept

What Car is This?
You got it right Chris....just a correction though. It was done in 1977. It was the creation of Bill Mitchell, former styling director of General Motors. It was based on a Grand Prix platform.

BMW Z4 Coupe
https://www.autonews.com/buyArchives.cms?articleId=54246 BMW to produce Z4 coupe Jens Dralle AN / August 22, 2005 MUNICH, Germany -- BMW AG plans a coupe version of its Z4 roadster, according to company sources. Like its predecessor, the Z3 coupe, the new coupe will be built at BMW's plant in Spartanburg, S.C., where the roadster is produced. The decision to build the coupe is surprising. The previous model was not considered a success. During a five-year production run that ended in 2002, BMW sold fewer than 18,000 Z3 coupes
