Here is the '47 King Midget runabout made in Ohio. It got up to 80 mpg.

There was nothing wrong with this concept in principle....it's just that it looked so odd. Ungainly proportions...from the 'Weiner Dog' school of design.

It's a very nice truck....good for you for not getting a mini-van. You will love this vehicle. Great color.

Balthazar I did not notice that Cadillac LeMans....very good observation. I didn't intend to imply this vehicle was a truck. It just had a certain look about it that reminded me of the EXT but in a different era. The 4-doors, the open rear window, the jaunty, casual, utilitarian rear 'trunk'. I may be stretching it a bit, it was just an initial impression when I saw this car. Obviously it was intended to be a 1954 version of the earlier Landaus.

This a very interesting Buick concept from the past. In a way it's an early Avalanche/Escalade EXT. The 1954 Buick Landau concept was way ahead of it's time:

Variance, has that been decided yet?....why is it an issue with this vehicle and yet the Lexus RX330 suv has them? It would be a shame to lose these..they give it such distinction.
