  1. Here is the '47 King Midget runabout made in Ohio. It got up to 80 mpg.
  2. There was nothing wrong with this concept in principle....it's just that it looked so odd. Ungainly proportions...from the 'Weiner Dog' school of design.
  3. It's a very nice truck....good for you for not getting a mini-van. You will love this vehicle. Great color.
  4. That's not what VenSeatle said.
  5. We have to hang on to the hope that there will be a Camaro. It's what keeps us going. Don't ever give up hope. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CAMARO ONE DAY.
  6. Balthazar I did not notice that Cadillac LeMans....very good observation. I didn't intend to imply this vehicle was a truck. It just had a certain look about it that reminded me of the EXT but in a different era. The 4-doors, the open rear window, the jaunty, casual, utilitarian rear 'trunk'. I may be stretching it a bit, it was just an initial impression when I saw this car. Obviously it was intended to be a 1954 version of the earlier Landaus.

  8. OldsGuy thanks for the matchbox info. I really like your signature. That is one of my favorite Cutlasses.
  9. Right on Sixty8.....can I copy that montage of Alphas?....very nicely done.
  10. This a very interesting Buick concept from the past. In a way it's an early Avalanche/Escalade EXT. The 1954 Buick Landau concept was way ahead of it's time:
  11. I heard the Terraza and the Rainier will not be replaced and I think it's the right direction for Buick.
  12. Here's a custom job:
  13. This Alpha Romeo concept is stunning beyond belief:
  14. This is one of my favorites: 1973 2005

I have always been a fan of Alpha Romeo. Here are some incredible examples from this great car company. 1932 1933 1952 1956

Variance, has that been decided yet?....why is it an issue with this vehicle and yet the Lexus RX330 suv has them? It would be a shame to lose these..they give it such distinction. And I agree, all these Saabs look way hot. When I put this together, I started to become a Saab guy...I am really liking these cars. Here's how those rear tailights will look in red lenses, the concept:
  17. (oceanblu)Yesterday I saw a '71 or '72 Delta 88 convertible with 3 20-something guys in it. Dude. Sweet. ..what?...the car?
  18. You might be right. This may be an historical first. I can't wail to see what happens with this, very interesting. I'll bet if Mercedes didn't own Chrysler, this wouldn't be happening.

The 9-2 Aero with turbo 4 and 230 hp: The Saab 9-3 Aero has a turbocharged 2.8 liter V-6 with 247 hp. This is a GM engine made in Australia. Cadillac CTS and SRX will be using the 2.8 V-6 as well. This is one sharp convertible, the Saab 9-3 Aero convertible, 'Sienfeld' would be proud:
