H3 vs. FJ
Other than the powertrain, the FJ doesn't have a whole lot on the H3...but the H3 definitely needs a power upgrade.

Detroit News: 2006 Hyundai Accent GLS Review
Loads of standard features??? Did they even know A/C is only an option on this car? The accent interior also has to be one of the cheapest interiors in that class.

New CAFE rules could backfire
I'm not arguing the merit of CAFE regulations...what I'm saying is that its dumb to let a vehicles size determine its fuel regulations. Making one standard ensures that doesn't happen.

No doubt they got a nice big tax break too.- New CAFE rules could backfire
CAFE in itself is dumb. All it does in penalize companies for providing what the consumer wants. The best thing to do is revise the EPA testing procedures, then establish a reasonable fuel goal (one for light trucks and one for cars) and then simply add a "gas guzzler" type tax to those vehicles that do not meet the reasonable standards. You can grant a few exemptions for work type trucks but otherwise if consumers want the bigger vehicles they are gonna have to fork over the extra dough...car or truck. If they don't want them...then the manufacturers are going to have to improve the fuel efficiency.- New CAFE rules could backfire
Stupid...they should just have one standard for "light-trucks"- Charger SRT-8 VS GTO
While the jellybean look of the GTO isn't the best...the "rolling brick" look of the charger is not attractive at all...not to mention except for the front it isn't exactly that distinctive either.- Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
C&D and MT both got 1/4 mile times that were lower than that...14.4 and 14.5 respectively so I have to believe that R&T's time was on the high side. I couldn't find much on the Si...but either way a half second 1/4 mile and almost a full second 0-60 is definitely noticeable faster.- Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
and the Cobalt SS is noticeably faster.- Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
In the context of everything else...its fuel efficiency really isn't that impressive.- Pontiac drops 2 Vibe models after '06 model year
Dropping that anemic 1.8L and giving it an ecotec would be an immediate and large upgrade.- Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
That's actually better than the other test for the Si...I forget which magazine it was from but it only averaged 19 MPG.- Pontiac drops 2 Vibe models after '06 model year
The Toyota 1.8L in the Vibe is truly awful. I haven't driven the GT but I can only imagine it's even worse than the base model.- Edmunds Full Test: 2007 Honda Fit Sport
Decent but still at least 2K overpriced.- Hmmm....
Hey! The Neon design was never cool and the only resemblance between the Cobalt and Neon is a slight one in the rear of the sedan...thats about it.- Charger SRT-8 VS GTO
I'd take the GTO...charger is fugly- Riots In France
That's why big companies have expensive lawyers. All they have to do is find a small loophole to use and you have no case. Even if you tried to sue you wouldn't win due to lack of evidence.- Edmunds - V6 Family Sedan Comparo
Edmunds needs to learn how to drive. C&D nailed a 5.7 0-60 for the GXP....almost a full second fast than the Camry. Pssh..knowing Edmunds they probably aren't even real numbers...just estimates.- New Camry LE (run-of-the-mill version) revealed
Leave it to Edmunds to load up a Camry to almost 31K and then sensationalize why its so much better than cars costing 6-7K less. I wonder why they didn't complain about the redesign cutting cargo space. My Cobalt has about 90% of that at 15K...sorry not impressed. Even funnier...did you know Toyota still charges you for floormats...that's comedy. OHHH...I bet those Camry drivers are really going to race all the time. It took them what a decade to finally match the performance of a 1997 GP GTP...not to mention 5 years to match Honda and Nissan. Sure the EPA's rating seems nice...but that 20.4 real world mileage isn't exactly a standout.- Edmunds - V6 Family Sedan Comparo
How did I know the result of the test before even clicking the link.- New Camry LE (run-of-the-mill version) revealed
Really? I'm pretty sure you're wrong. The base Impala has 50 more hp, more interior room, and both are within 1K of eachother pricewise. Uh...well I sat in the interiors of the new Yaris and FJ at the auto show...and it wasn't pretty. The base interior of the last Camry wasn't anything to write home about either.- New Camry LE (run-of-the-mill version) revealed
Obviously not since you have what...20+ posts in this thread defending the Camry...or more specifically saying the Camry interior is better than <insert any GM car here>- Stupid Driver Week
In Florida every week is stupid drivers week.- Feds May Overhaul Fuel Standards for Big SUVs
