I know it but it's just like the guys who give you a dirty look at a carshow when you say that the Toronado is one of the coolest FWD cars ever... the guy cocks his head and says "the Toronado? That's got a V8!" as if that automatically meant it was RWD.
  3. Let's not get unrealistic... If a BOF Chevelle/MC came out wiht RWD and a LS7 it would be dumbed down to only 495hp and would cost at least $17,999. ;)
  4. If the list allowed 10 cars I'd have included the Fiero
  5. The nose and hood betray this as a Poncho. Althought the chrome detailing is a bit Oldsmobile inspired and the wheel wells remind me of the 50s Buicks'... the fact that they're rd are a giveaway thoguh.

Exactly... Brews & 84 nailed it. How creative. Out of the 100 manufacturers I bet one or MAYBE two have an "ORIGINAL" design/chassis.

Burn M****F***ER let it burn, let it burn! Every time an Element or CRV burn to a crisp an Angel gets his wings! :P
  8. Cool, it's pretty easy: [email protected]
  9. What just happened here?

Yes, there was a T-Type Regal in 1987. It's not a trick question. All of these questions are repeats.. that's why it's a review. I've heard stuff like this at least a dozen times: "That GTO had the Big Block wiht three carbs." or "I've got a little Pontiac Smallblock 326 in my Firebird."

  12. Sounds a lot better than the batteries in Toyotas.

Yup... this was revealed back in June. I hope we do get some V8 Kappas soon!
  14. They only manuifactured 243,000 Caamros in 1969... the demand FAR exceedes the supply. If we're lucky there's 100,000 of them on the road and drivable and another 40,000 sittign in backyards and barns waiting to be rescued. There's PLENTY of people who want a '69 but can't afford one.. hell I'm one of them! Mean time thought my heart says keep the Camaro V8 only my brain says we need the Secretary's model V6 for the rental car companies young guys & girls. Look at NOS, he might not been able to afford a V8 and insure it at the same time.
  15. - Chevy Camaro: a choice of four V8 engines, 69 retro styling - Pontiac Grand Am: Kappa sedan with 4/6 cylinder engines and available fully manual trans. - Buick Electra/Roadmaster: RWD, you could choose between pushrod or Northstar power - Buick Regal two door luxury hardtop, Grand National PKG available wiht BiTurbo. - Cadillac Eldorado: retro 1967 2dr hardtop except wiht RWD.
  16. 'Nuff said!
  17. I miss Harry's "trips". We'd be talking about the Avalanche and next thing you know he's off on a tangent about Toaster Strudles and Polar Bears.
  18. I have always liked those rims... simple, elegnat.

BV: After all taht B.S. about you being hideous you look like one of the yuppies from an A&F catalog. Griff: Wow, they let you lean on the truck and everything. At the 1991 International Auto Show in Boston I tried to touch the F40 they had behind the ropes and I got yeled at.

Yup.... you guys are right. I got carded for the Lottery about a month ago. I was like WHAT? It's a powerball ticket not a gun! I'll have my revenge when I'm 97 years old and look like I'm only 89. Mach5: That's just strange. We also bought a Pumpkin costume ofr our Sofia. We originally wanted a Bumble Bee costume but couldn't find one small enough. Here's a pic of myslef wiht the family. (Marcia & litle Sofia) And the famous shot of Sofia in the Camaro:
  22. Damn they saw me coming from a mile away. :o Actually I think this works better: - CAMARO: THE MOST IMPORTANT CAR IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE - RWD IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE A REAL CAR - PUSHROD V8 OR NORTHSTAR: THE ONLY ENGINES THAT MATTER - JAPANESE CARS ARE OVERPRICED & BLAND - GM IS BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE
  23. rkmdogs: A budy of mine has a vanilla 1980 coupe with a 383 stroker. I love old school shots of dragracing. Back in the 80s I'm sure you didn't see too many imports either. These days there's more rice at the track on street nights than American Muscle. If you have a chance post the '87 Article as well. I'd love to see it. BTW: is that a early '70s MOpar you're racing against? I can't make it out on my crappy small monitor. Almost looks like a RoadRunner.

BV: Believe it or not I kept growing after 18... I'm now 5'9" (the G/F says 5'10") but I still have a pretty light build. Although somehow I've gone from 149 to 165 since we had Sofia. Eat your vegetables and drink your milk.
