Of course! GM dominating the urban market really is the best way to be successful in the long run! High quality, stylish and fun small cars that are beyond what any other can offer. Oh! I hope that day comes soon! It makes so much sense, it's one of those things hiding in front of you all along. I personally felt that the Sentra SE-R Spec V I sat in (minus those goddawful red seat belts) felt nice and of high quality overall. It seems solid and comfortable. It's better than the NA Focus, Cobalt, and of course the Caliber. The Astra has, in my opinion, the best, the most solid and high quality interior of the small cars. It felt and looked better in many ways even opposed the the interior in my MK V Golf although the next Golf's interior promises to be better because VW cheaped out a bit on the V's. For the Golf VI, I've heard they made it more profitable to build by simplifying production over the V. Also, I do believe I read somewhere that the way the doors on the Golf V's were made added something like four hours to building the car. I'm not for sure, so bear with me. Darn Phaeton project starving their mainlines of development money I suppose, and not making the overall interior quality to be less special than the previous MK IV interior's styling and quality was the best way to get some extra money for that daft but gorgeous German luxury sedan that I am personally a fan of.

So, the THX of the Lincoln versus the Harman Kardon of the Lucerne? Expected outcome? I love sound systems, but only get to sample a limted selection generally. When you listen to it, I can't wait to read that! Good audio systems are such a delight to me.

I must say this is the best looking and most stylish product (to me anyway) that Ford has had in years. Stylish here meaning attractive, suave, smartly detailed and styled, something to actually indeed be proud of for purchasing (please forgive me for my tastes if you disagree; that's fine of course). So, basically, this is one of the first Lincolns of recent times I find attractive other than the LS, and overall, I like the new styling of the MKS more; front drive or not. Speaking of Buick; I still feel that the exterior of the Lucerne (especially the CXS models) is more attractive overall to me than the MKS but in my opinion the Lincoln really does feature a better and more attractive cabin as well as what would be perceived as more advanced powertrains.

Hmm. I believe that if Chrysler is to survive or exceed at being independent, then those vehicles created to save them instead of the bad ones they have now (Sebring/Avenger) would hopefully be the best in most every way.

Now we know why." I suppose this would indeed be why we are getting the new Buick Regal in the U.S. instead of a new Saturn Aura. At anyrate, for Saturn, why were the names changed to begin with? Why was the Aura a G6 in drag and not the genuine German Opel? Will the Regal be dumbed down compared to the German engineered car it appears to be identical to? This fan hopes not and hopes as well that GM will experience a renaissance.

Indeed. My first car ever was a Buick, so I have always liked Buick in some way, and find the badge to be a very beautiful one to boot. As an Alpha car (small, rear drive Buick) I do believe that it could be successful if executed right. With DI I-4's and turbocharged DI fours, available DI V6 and manual transmissions available, it would be amongst my top picks based on the direction that Buick's styling seems to be heading.

If Chrysler does achieve the status somehow of being America's Premiere Luxury brand, as in our MB or BMW, then that would be comparatively make Chrysler as niche status as opposed to what it currently is.

That rear end IS terrible. Reminds me of the newest Lexus ES.

So, then, if we shall view this as positive potential, let's then discuss the chance of a bright future for Chrysler because some of you seem to support GM entirely but say let Chrysler die, well then, whatever. Let's view this as, "Please, let's discuss the possible outcome should Chrysler be able to take this seriously. If they are successful, and what will it mean for the rest of the industry?"

Well, we're just glad the thought of comparing a Chrysler to a Bentley crossed your mind at all. *Ha ha ha! :-D

I say, I have to agree. The front and rear look exceptionally nicer than on the NA Camry. Can you imagine if they used the same look on the NA Camry as a mid-cycle enhancement/update?*

Well, my 2/3-door Golf does NOT have an armrest but DOES have an auxillary jack... in the glove box. For me, I'd want to order an Astra without OnStar, with the rear foglamps (they're standard Euro fare anyhow), automatic climate control, and xenon headlamps. Of course, I really would take the 19L CDTi with the 6-speed manual but can't.

HaHA! Fantastic! Gosh, I suppose if I were looking for a "beater" it would be an old K-based Chrysler vehicle or a Buick Skyhawk. What can I say, I have this dementia for loving cars from the 1980's.

Agreed on the K's. They made everything from entry level economy cars to Euro style sport sedans to "luxury" cars and even the minivan from it. I love the K cars. My sister is driving my great grandmother's (I miss her) 1989 Dodge Aries!!

Bah. Analysts are full of it. I believe that if Cerberus doesn't bail on Chrysler itself, Chrysler can survive. Chrysler built more desirable cars (if only styling) in the 1990's than GM or Ford put together. Intrepid vs. Impala vs. Taurus? For me, gotta be Intrepid. intrepid- adj. bold.

Oh, yes of course. I understand that. I haven't been to Church in about three years, due mainly to working Sunday mornings. Gosh, the first Easter that I missed Church, I was on my way back to Michigan from Indianapolis with my ex girlfriend Meagan. It was an enlightened drive in some ways. I don't much care for... People that always have an excuse for why they can't do something right instead of actually taking responsibility and making an effort.

Silver, and to a greater extent, black, do perform wonders for the appearances of some vehicles. And generally makes them classier looking too.
