My Grand Prix gets about 25 average. The lowest I have managed, was 18, and that was the day I took it to the drag strip.

It will probably need a new crank. I had that happen to a quad 4 before, I had the crank checked to see if it could be ground, it couldn't. The cheapest I found for a crank was $600. Then you have to take the engine completely apart. I did it myself, and it was a great experience, but expensive. I would have rather been putting high performance parts instead of just replacing factory parts though.

I thought with 1 L it would have the pal sound and with 2 Ls it would have the all sound, just like every other word in English. Think of the difference between call, and cal, all, and al. Do you live in Caulifornia? No, its Cal, as in pal, and Impala.

Actually its GM's car, so it would be how GM wants it to be pronounced. There are some car names that wont be in the dictionary, so who decides how to pronounce it then?

In MA, I've always heard it pronounced as Im-pal-a, in AZ its pronounced Im-paul-a. Since I grew up in MA, it's Im-pal-a for me. Rappers use Im-paul-a because it rhymes better.

Niche or not, Camaro needs a V6 model. The Z06 wouldnt be around without the base Corvette, and the CTS-V wouldnt be around without the CTS. And I think the GTO would sell better if it had a V6, and optional 5.3L for less money. I hear people talking about the GTO all the time, but dont want to go spend more than $30,000 on a car just because it has 400hp. They would buy one in the $20,000s, with a 240hp V6 though.

I think the Solstice has the perfect balance of both. The MX-5 is only for driving aggresively. The SLK is only for being seen in, and the BMW and Porsche are more towards handling, but still look good, except they cost double what the Solstice does.

Anyone want to look up the weights of all the other small 2 seat roadsters for sale? How much do the Mercedes, BMW, and Porsches weigh? I believe they are all heavier than the mx5, does that mean the Mazda is better than all of them? No, they are different cars with different purposes, just like the Solstice. The Solstice just happens to be in the same price range as the MX-5.

My parents were deciding between a Malibu, Equinox, and HHR. They went with the Malibu, it was cheaper. It still has a big trunk, plenty of space inside, and gets good fuel economy even with the V6. The HHR had $5,000 mark ups which made them too expensive. The Malibu makes alot of sense as a commuter car

You lose money on everything you buy, clothes, tvs, radios, cars, even houses if you pay them over 30 years. Just buy what you like.

I think a Kappa Cadillac would sell like crazy. All it needs is the 2.8, 3.6 and turbo 3.6 for the V.

I beleive all of that. I think if GM is ever going to get marketshare back, they are going to need to start with CA. Thats where they have the lowest share and, its a huge market and growing. That leaves the most room for opportunity. If GM can fix its image in CA, the rest of the country will follow.

Great news. I didnt think GM would be stupid enough to just use the 205 hp SC 2.0. Who would pay more, to barely beat the base mx-5, just to be outdone by the Mazdaspeed version? I'm still hoping GM has the guts to use the 325hp turbo ecotec for the GXP, but I'd be happy with 250+
