I'm only 20, but I've seen many Pontiacs from the 60s and 70s. My brother had a 67 GTO, Le Mans, and Tempest a few years ago. Just because someone wasnt alive during that time, doesnt mean they didnt grow up around them. I grew up around a 52 Chevy, a 63 Impala, 27 T-bucket, 49 Ford, yet I wasnt alive when those cars were made. I still dont like the G6 coupe at all.

Sounds like a real life video game.

My favorite is the 67. My dad had one about a year ago. He sold it for $3500. I would still rather have a 66/67 GTO though.

My family owns 10 acres in CA, that I own 10% of. If I had the money, there would be a track on it already. But I couldnt live out in the middle of nowhere. I need everything close to me.

What do I have to do to get in on that? Are bets allowed?

What a waste. Pontiac finally gets a coupe and it looks like that. Almost looks like a stretched version of the new Civic, which is ugly also. I'd rather have the 4 door.
  7. I've had someone ask me how to make a CD player play. I pointed to the play button, and she said, oh, I havent tried that one yet.
  8. Kappa 2+2? (I wish) You did say anything didnt you? Hopefully its something to go against the 300 and Charger.
  9. All the Explorer would need is the Lightnings engine. That would be a great competition, but I think the Explorer would win.
  10. It sounds like they are going by 0-60 times, not 1/4mi times. In that case, the AWD Jeep will be ahead of the Charger. But after that, the Charger will catch up.
  11. I think its too soon for the Solstice GXP. The regular Solstice already cant keep up with demand. It seems to soon to be a Grand Prix replacement either. The current model is only 3 years old. I hope its not the Pursuit, but most likely thats what it is.

I dont drink. Never have, never will.
  13. Yes, without profits, there will be no businesses. With no businesses, there will be no jobs. We need a balance. Our companies losing billions a year is not balanced.
  14. Well hopefully GM will decide to give it the 325hp turbocharged version instead.
  15. Well I dont agree with that either. I think the profits should be reinvested to grow the business, develop new technologies, etc. which in turn creates more profits, and the need for more workers. But without the profits, the only way to go is down.
  16. I'm sorry, I shouldnt have directed that at your life. All I mean is something needs to change to keep our companies alive, and with their costs, they are collapsing under the weight. Do I hope lots of people starve? No, I dont. But if the company they work for collapses, that wouldn't help their situation either.

So it was diverted from their already excessive wages? Should I keep repeating that Delphi workers get paid double what other UAW supplier workers make? Do you understand that? Delphi's competitors, pay half the wages, and you expect Delphi to stay around much longer like that? Bankrupcy was inevitable. Now go on and repeat it again, since I know your going to anyway.

Just pepperoni for me. No extra cheese, no extra sauce. Or if theres anyone whos ever been to the area in MA where I grew up Chourico pizza is my favorite too. It hasn't even spread to Boston from 50 miles away, so I doubt any of you know what I'm talking about.
  19. I fully agree.

Shouldn't you be unknown, not unkown?
  21. Because those theories are whats happening around you. Try understanding them instead of rambling on and on about how any higher learning wont do any good. I though you saw this coming in the 70s? And you were still caught off guard? You should have been working on a smooth transition back then, instead of allowing it to creep up on you, and "hit you in the face like a hammer". Those who refuse to evolve with the times, will endure hardships. Times change, you either adapt and make it, or you dont.
  22. I love cheesecake. I ate a whole one in a day. I want some now....
  23. Profits fuel innovation.
  24. People dont get anywhere without a job that pays them. Unless you want to farm your own food, drink from a river, catch your dinner, and have little of anything else in life, we need businesses. Who is going to pay the UAW worker kids when they are working age? Havent thought that far ahead? There wont be any jobs left by that time. But hey, at least we got as much money from GM as we could before it died. Once the last unionized sectors collapse from the weight of the unions, what union will their be? I just dont want GM to be dragged down with them.
  25. Actually I think the 4.5 million is just Toyota....
