IS300 gets 24 mpg on the highway. Silverado 17.5 mpg mixed.

CHP put in an order for a bunch of Crown Vics while they could. They use a few Chargers for pursuit vehicles, but they don't provide enough space for gear to use as regular patrol vehicles. Don't expect them to get Caprices anytime soon because of budget issues.

I drove the Regals several times at the Main Street in Motion event, plus the Lacrosse. The course had a decent straightaway and plenty of curves. The Regal is as impressive as all the auto mags have said, and the base model is no slouch. They could hold their own against the Acura TSX and TL. The Lacrosse is cushy and in an entirely different segment.

Regal wasn't designed to be a Buick, thus it looks nothing like a Buick other than the grille. The Riviera concept, while nice, never really struck me as being a Riviera.

My IS300 has had a dead battery the last three months, and I finally replaced it with a new Costco battery a couple of weeks ago. I gave the car a wash on Saturday.

The other Seville is an '81 with the V8-6-4. If that car belongs the seller, it's interesting that he would be keeping that one, but perhaps it has some interesting mods.
