Chrysler Searches for Inner Beauty
This whole forum has been on a Chrysler bashing streak for months now.

Hyundai said to release new BH to compete against luxury cars
Hyundai? Luxury? I can definitely see a good cross section of Americans thinking "I'm not paying that much for a Hyundai".

MADE IN CHINA: 2009 Buick LaCrosse
Buick's image is so incredibly stodgy in America. Even more so than Oldsmobile or Lincoln had ever/i] been and it has forced GM to have to search globally for a Buick design that breaks that stigma. Cadillac used to be a pretty stodgy brand at the end of the 1990s...but GM turned it around, making it hip and all the while not alienating all the little old blue hairs that traditionally bought them. If American design teams can't (or won't) do that with Buick, its in a bigger heap of trouble than you're willing to admit. Personally, I'd love to see some really cool looking Buicks out there and I don't want to see the brand whither like it has been. The Lacrosse and Lucerne are NOT bad looking cars in my eyes, but to the majority of the population they're still Fogeymobiles.

MADE IN CHINA: 2009 Buick LaCrosse
So...Americans apparently have no idea how to design great looking Buicks anymore? God that brand is in major trouble.

No, the current generation Toyota Camry is about as hideous as a car can get.

Announced: Lexus LX570
"Lexus is raising the bar for this that and the other thing...blah, blah, blah." I don't care about new engines or features in Lexuses. The only thing that would impress me about a Lexus from here on on out is whether or not it looks exactly the same as every other Lexus model. I'm sick of hearing about this brand, I'm sick of people blowing their loads over this brand and I'm sick of seeing so many on the roads. They're completely unimpressive. God what I would give to see Buick get its $h! together, come out of nowhere and f@#king blindside Lexus.

Its a risky move on Chrysler's part, yes, but so were the 300/Charger/Magnum.

Say what you will about the Imperial, but I'm willing to bet it'll be a hit. Not a lot of people on Cheers & Gears really like the car, but it will help bump the Chrysler brand into the luxury segment, which is something that desperately needs to happen.

Went to the Junkyard today
I would totally get that Impala just so I could feel like I'm living "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".

GM image upgrade a ray of hope
This is good news for GM, the American auto industry, Metro Detroit and Michigan as a whole.

Ford's Not the Only One with Engine Supply Issues...
But...but...Toyota couldn't have made a mistake? Could they? Surely the article was talking about one of the Big Three and they got the name mixed up...because we all know that perfect, clean-cut, efficent Toyota couldn't possibly let such a glaring error slip under their radar.

Fate of Imperial rests on CAW shoulders
Holy Jesus that car is huge! I'm one of the few who actually like the concept, but if it doesn't get built, its not a big loss really. Chrysler doesn't have the cash to pull it off right now. Besides, a car that big would only make the media complain about how American cars are such gas guzzlers. I'm willing to bet the Imperial, if built, would get gas mileage similar to a truck.

Challenger Specifications
Flint's only really scary if you get lost around the north end.

Fate of Imperial rests on CAW shoulders
I agree that it would be nice for Chrysler to relaunch Plymouth, but they can't afford to spend that money on a fourth brand right now, especially one that got as redundat as Plymouth did in its last few years.

Ford the martyr?
Yeah, let Ford go out of business!!! Woo hooo!! I can't WAIT to see what that'll do to Michigan...a state where the governer is talking about TAXING HAIRCUTS just to rake in some extra green. God, half this board thinks that if either Ford or Chrysler go under, GM's going to pull in every single one of their customers and be Number One Automaker forever. Sad to say, but not everyone who buys American is tied down to the idea.

Great, they're killing the muscle car revival before it really kicks off.

Kia Rondo SX
I'd be surprised if anyone could find a hard rock song that'd go good with a car called a Rondo.

Prius Troubles
I never realized how ugly the Prius really was until today when I was driving home from work. Saw one following directly behind a really nice first generation Aurora. By GOD are those things hideous.

Buick Wants to Bring in the Black Guys
Seeing older people in Toyotas might begin a stereotype that Toyota is an old person's brand of car. It really is too bad Buick got nailed by that stereotype, but the brand really has been largely ignored by GM. I'd buy a Buick in a second if I had the money, but in all honesty, if I weren't from Flint, I probably wouldn't have the love for the brand that I do.

Why exactly are you fed up with GM?

GM sales rise!!; Ford, Chrysler slip
GM fans used to be that way, but somehow Toyota's little tin cans won them over. Think how the tables'll turn once GM gets all their brands straightened out.

Now THIS is cool!!!
If it were just a firetruck I probably wouldn't care so much, but its a Studebaker firetruck, which makes worlds of difference to me.

Top Gear and the Cadillac Sixteen Concept
If they do decide to build it, it better be built in Detroit. It would be a blasphemy if it weren't. Can't have a halo car of this magnitude and not build it in the brand's native town.

I like my Intrepid just fine...just not THAT much.
