I am eager to examine the Journey up close and personal!
  2. Light, sporty, rear-drive. But for hte love of God ditch the lame name.

Lmao! To me, the center stack doesn't look like $h!, just cheap because it's the same black tie radio as everywhere else.

Well, that's better than BMW though!!

    Why not Daimler-Benz AG?

That dopey swoop is the only let down of the A5 line. It should be a single, uninterrupted crease running "up" the body.

I can't help it any more, I have to respond to this, hehe. So what if some are only offered with the four cylinders? It's certainly better than nothing, and if its adequately powerful enough (not like the 2.0L SOHC I-4 from a Neon teemed to a 4-sp auto as in my Plymouth Breeze) then I would prefer a four. And, VW as far as I know, doesn't offer a stick (yet) with the 3.6L VR6 in the new Passat.

    Amen to that!

Why although? It's the whole point of the A5- to be a couple variant of the upcoming A4. I heard that a coupe version of the current A4 2002-2005/2005-current was planned, but never executed. *EDIT* I hope Audis don't become too "unique" if you will, because to me Audi represents (or at least used to) clean, simple designs- Bauhausian.

Well, I like the Journey. It's certainly got a better looking exterior than the Equinox or Torrent even if the Journey is bigger. The interior materials ought to be the equal of those (hard, hollow, and scratchy) or better (I hope).

I too, noticed the crazy amount of buttons for a Chrysler product!
  12. I find it interesting that the U.S. market is oversaturated when it has fewer separate companies than Europe, which has even more competing for less.

*Sigh* Could be so much better. But if it were a Toyota, it WOULD be so much worse!
  14. I'd take super hot because I can get as close to naked as possible in public and go swimming, lmao!

Well, at least Chrysler interiors used to have dash pads, lol!

Wow! The exterior is incredibly attractive considering Chrysler's recent string of bloopers. The interior will largely be let down I'm sure by the quality of the materials. I've sat in the new Chrysler Town&Country, and well, the only semisoft areas are around the armrests. There is no padded surface at all on the dash, and I expect this to be no different, and that's disappointing.

And yet, aside from the rear of this car which is unappealing to me at best so far, I wouldn't ever get one. Why? I'm that vocal minority that calls for a stick shift. Know who does offer one? Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Nissan, Pontiac (although only on GT Sport models of G6), Ford, and Mercury.

*Sighs and Shakes Head* Really shows that Iacocca should've given Lutz the top spot and not Eaton. Look what Lutz has done for GM! Just think if he'd've never left Chrysler. With any hope, the actual plastics quality will be better than what we see here, and if they get rid of so many creases if not angles, then maybe this could be nice.

Too bad it isn't rated (as advertised) for 300hp. Bad Chrysler! *But maybe it'll be 300+ if the Caliber SRT-4 gets AWD*
  21. Why, that's easy- An Opel Astra GTC w/OPC treatment. 240hp hot hatch anyone?
  22. No thanks VW. Not only is the nomenclature getting annoying, but this thing looks sorta ugly so far with the camo on, and if the current Sebring was anything to judge by with its camo on, this is as good as it gets. It's sad that for a foreign brand that has been in the U.S. for so long and seems to try so hard but still doesn't get it after all these years. It's attempt to march upmarket certainly didn't help their what with the magnificent but completely wrong Phaeton and a Passat that can be optioned up to $40 grand. I'll take an Audi for that, thank you very much. Remember VW- You are the People's Car. Do that or go home.

I am extremely disappointed with both the coupe and sedan, especially after considering how attractive the Civic coupe is (at least from an exterior viewpoint). Even the new Camry looks more interesting than this!
  24. Rarely, I'd say.
