Alfa 8C Competizione leads Alfa's US return
Oh, I never said that the Corvette, Z06 or not, was bad looking. It's very nice. And, it sounds phenomenal. I can attest to that. But in comparison for MYSELF, a Vette lacks visual drama compared to a Viper or Ford GT. I never said that ALL Italian cars looked amazing either. But for a FWD econobox, I do like the new FIAT Bravo. I'm afraid what you 'all' forgetting is that just because one has a different opionion than your own doesn't mean that I am wrong or that you are right. Well, technically we are all right due to opinion And, Sixty8, if you are to direct a statement to me, would you please spell my name right? Otherwise, it's kinda like you aren't really directing anything at anybody. balthazar, if current reliability standards are to judge, then technically all German marques ought to have left recently. Olds is dead too. Hate to bring up a sore point, but it's valid. Cheerleader. Please. I despise them.

SPY SHOTS! 2009 Pontiac Vibe
Eh. I don't really see a particular need for it if GM is going to follow through on its plans for BPG. The doors are more Matrix than ever before, and I never really cared for the Vibe. (Just one of those things)

Alfa 8C Competizione leads Alfa's US return
Unfortunately, just because it's Italian will make enough people go gaga over it. Of course, I could become some public relations director. I have a nice way with words. My one-of-a-kind "semi-exotic sports brand" phrase acurately describes Alfa Romeo to me; a company with a gorgeous as only Italy can do it car (the 8C), along with other upmarket automobiles that compete with the likes of Audi and BMW but have more charisma. It's pert, pretty, and perfect as a description. Alfas are supposed to be special in some way shape, or form. The GTV? I don't like it. I do like the 159 and Brera, and the 8C. As far as the price of this car? The huddled masses can't even afford it, so is some of the bitching because they can never have it?

Alfa 8C Competizione leads Alfa's US return
And yet it still lacks a certain sex appeal. The 8C is amazing in appearance, it'll sell regardless, and for some people, the name Alfa Romeo resonates in a manner that turns them on. Just like front drive econoboxes turn you OFF.

Honda's Latest Van Adverts
I couldn't help but notice Honda's advertisements for the Odyssey- stuff like "The Van is BACK" and "Respect the Van" along with all of the crazy psychadelic colours and whatnots and think to myself, either Honda is trying to appeal to new "hippies", people of the 1960's/`70's, or of course, nothing like the classic clam bake in a van, eh? Let's get one of those. Any other thoughts?

V4s
Acknowledged. However, despite the facts, there are also the facts that mantufacturers make 90* V6s which require additional balancing, and thus, if innovation, a mere need to be different were there, I'm sure it would happen. It's just not really worth the money, time, research, and development. Other engine designs have come to the fore and are being continuously refined. A V4 would be behind the times automatically in that regard.

Chrysler's New Logo
Probably not unless Chrysler uses it once again as GM does with its chiclet emblems plastered all over everything.

YOUR TOP 10 DORKMOBILES
Of currently produced vehicles, I would have to say my Top 10 Dorkmobiles are: 1) Toyota Yaris 2) Honda Fit 3) Honda Ridgeline 4) Jeep Compass 5) Kia Rondo 6) Hyundai Accent 7) Scion xD&xB (old ones were cooler) 8.) Kia Amanti 9) Chevrolet Monte Carlo 10) Toyota Camry (particularly non-SE versions) Others? Pontiac G5 (honestly, do I have to say anything?) Buick LaCrosse Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable/Ford 500/Mercury Montego (whatever the hell they're calling them this week) Suzuki Aerio and more...

V4s
In response to the absolute first post (not response) a 2.7L four cylinder of any type would be a NVH project. However, for cars with longitudinally mounted engines, a V4 could theoretically work better than an inline, as in such an application (like for Audi) could be more compact especially as Audi uses V6's in the A4 range. It is a good question!

Chrysler announces lifetime powertrain warranty
Back off Chrysler for God's sake. They are now doing what they can as they can. They even have a banner on their headquarters building that says GET READY. I will get ready because Chrysler will get its mojo back like it had in the 1990's. It has to. Just because they had a better idea than anyone else that encourages LOYALTY doesn't mean it should be trash talked. Shame!

IIHS tests midsize luxury bumpers
Making bumpers taller and wider? I think not. That'd make cars ugly, and, since car accidents don't happen to everybody everyday, such a notion is foolhardy. Not enough fuss to accept when the vehicle's face is mussed.

Next-gen B-Class coming to US
Very true. So then why did they acquire Chrysler? Use its money for their own gains? A mere excercise in dick wagging? Mercedes technically had no use for them. Anyway, the current B was a discussion of importation at one point, much the ever on again, off again smart brand. I like it and Canada has it. Why not? Mercedes seems to have it, "Why ever have anything else but a Mercedes-Benz?"

Alfa 8C Competizione leads Alfa's US return
Being a little harsh, are we? Alfa Romeo isn't Italy's Chevrolet. That'd be FIAT. Alfa-Romeos to me are supposed to represent the people's semi-exotic sport brand just barely within reach. I say that this will sell. I say it'll be amazing... for a couple months till issues arise. Enough crap. This is gorgeous. This is what the fans have been waiting for...the return! This will sell. It's more than a kit car. Shame on you. It's made by the company that created it. This marks the return of cars I like such as the 159/Brera. This...Is ALFA ROMEO.

Lmao. Drama Queen. Eh, it may have made me look like a bad person, but I never step down from a challenge.

Sebring in a Rap Video!
Wow. The Sebring did look nice on those wheels, and I'm shocked to see it in the video. Go Chrysler! P.S. I don't care for rap. But I sometimes make exceptions.

Loss of a Friend
Walking away. Exactly. I dropped the issue a few days after it happened, but people inquired, I told them. I can't waste time being upset at someone.

Loss of a Friend
Well, I can't let it get to me. I'd be a mess otherwise. So I phrased it in the manner than I must look at it in order for me to ever begin to rationalize it. That's even worse in itself. Regarding all of this, the mind fascinates me, and if don't go into automotive design, I would just love to go into psychology. Why just make observations and learn first hand, when I could have a degree in the study of the mind and how it works? The possibilities are endless!!!

Loss of a Friend
Oh, I understand that. I honestly didn't expect anyone here to have my back, if you will. I apoligize that I had to subject you poor things to the events of my life. Don't you think I realize what I did was terrible?

Loss of a Friend
Please. I don't have any want or need for a boyfriend. I can and do keep my mouth shut. And for all of you saints, Meagan DID break up with me because I am celibate and still a virgin along with her getting fired, and having some perverted 50-something year old guy propose to her and claim he laid her. Know what? We hung out together the next day. I hung out with her and her new boyfriend (who is also a friend of mine) last night and told her all of the latest, like the news regarding my friend Dylan from Allegan, my little fat friend Curtis that works at the boyscout camp in Kalamazoo, and that I had quit one of my jobs. Dylan said he would have helped me out if his computer hadn't crashed sometime ago. Nothing like a photograph. None of you really understand just how complicated this thing is, especially concerning all of the people involved. Dustin's brother called me last night and said, "Dude, just cuz you're fighting with my brother doesn't mean that you and I still aren't friends". So after staying in Angola with Meagan and Shaun for a while, I went all the back to Coldwater to hang with Cody and his girlfriend Amy. See? Dustin's own brother doesn't have an issue with me for this, and neither should any of you.

Loss of a Friend
Gosh, isn't this neat? Why stir the pot when one can shake the hell out of it? Shame on you all for such judgement anyhow. Life must be lonely on your pedestals. As if any of you are innocent at all. Yes. My friend felt betrayed by me when I didn't really do anything, and for over a month I made the effort to make everything better. When I discovered I had nothing to lose in this situation, I gave a real reason for him to dislike me. Things can always be worse. That itself is a mantra of mine. I so enjoy working with Dustin now. I know that it bothers him that I'm there. Did you know that he has a case of sexual harrassment against him for something he did at work to another kid? This other friend of mine could have him fired in a heart beat. Coldwater does suck. The best part about this is that in my circle, all sided with me. I won't apoligize for this until he does. It's not like I had ever done anything like this before. Good God. Chill all. I won't ruin my life. Kinda hard to really do that WITHOUT drugs, sex, and other whatnots being involved. My girlfriend wasn't actually scared of ME. She was afraid that I would spill her truths. But Meagan is the best person in the world, and I could never willfully hurt her. This situation also demonstrates what happens when others feel that they walk all over someone because, "It's only Steve. He's nice. It won't matter". Usually nice people are the ones that others shouldn't mess with. I won't put up with horse$h! from people. Sometimes I wish my life wasn't so exciting, but then I guess I'd be bored.

4 cylinder Aura to become availiable
Without a stickshift, a four cylinder Aura is pointless. I would have rather seen either the regualr 2.4L ECOTEC/2.0L ECOTEC Turbo 4 with a 5-/6-speed manual and automatic equivalent rather than any OHV engine. So is an Aura with the OHV engines or any Saturn for that matter. I agree. If Saturn is to become oh-so Euro, it'll NEED to dump all OHV engines. GM should not move Saturn downmarket again. Disappointing sales? What did they expect? The Aura was never properly contented, equipped, or even marketed really. Saturn has such a small presence, coupled with far fewer dealers, of course the sales didn't light up the market.
